At Skinny’s, we go the extra mile to make sure you get the best repair money can buy. We use the highest quality parts available, and back them with a lifetime warranty. Here’s what that means for you:

What’s covered

  • Nearly* every repair we do is covered with a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty. Meaning if something EVER goes wrong, like your screen stops working, or battery stops charging, ANY defect in the manufacturing process of the part we repaired will be covered free of charge to you.

  • Our warranty also covers our workmanship. So if we made a mistake while repairing your device, we will make it right, free of charge to you.

  • A small labor fee of $29 is sometimes charged for warranty work after 90 days from initial repair, or if an iPhone LCD is damaged from use, but the glass is not cracked.

what’s not covered

  • Think of it like buying a car. When you buy a car, the warranty covers any defects in manufacturing. So if your engine light comes on within warranty, you can take it back to the dealership and they will fix it. However, if you run into a telephone pole on the way home, and take it back to the dealership…well, they aren’t going to cover that. It’s the same principle here. If we fix your phone, and you walk outside and drop a bowling ball on the screen…our warranty doesn’t cover that.

  • The easiest way to remember it is, our warranty doesn’t cover anything YOU do. So be careful! Or better yet, grab a snazzy phone case and screen protector while you are here!

*For those of you that read carefully, you may have noticed we said “nearly every repair is covered with a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty”. iPhone users, fear not. ALL iPhones are covered. Unfortunately there are a few phones that we are unable to warranty due to the nature of their screen design. These are typically android phones that require us to destroy the screen to repair, and thus, we cannot warranty these screens due to the fact that the manufacturers will not accept a destroyed screen. If you aren’t sure if your phone is covered by our warranty, give us a call or stop by the shop and we will look it up.
